Laptop Sales Jump 94% in April: UBS Investment Research reports that Apple (AAPL) notebook sales grew at nearly triple the rate of the rest of the industry year to year. Sales of Macs across the board were up 62%; iPod sales were down slightly in advance of the iPhone debut. Reports here and here.

Apple Stores Ban MySpace: Think Secret reports that Apple's user-friendly retail stores have finally lost patience with MySpace users, who park themselves at the demo units and spend hours updating their pages. By the close of business Thursday most Apple stores had reportedly blocked the social networking site.

How Much Is Your Mac Worth?:
A new French site, Mac2Sell, offers a easy-to-use interface for determining the book value of your used Mac in 23 countries and nine languages. It does not, however, offer to buy your Mac at the quoted price.

Not hard to be up 62 percent when your closer to 0% of the market than any other laptop maker.
