Norman Mailer, RIP

Norman Mailer died and I am very sad. He was brilliant right up until his last book, The Castle in the Forest. That book was supposed to be the first part of a trilogy—what hubris for a guy in his 80s! That was Mailer, though. I hope he got far enough into the second installment so that it will be published posthumously.
